According to the CDC, 1 in 5 people in the U.S. has an STD, and most people don’t even know they have one. At Trillium Health, we’re here to talk to you about your sexual history and provide testing.
Who should be tested for STDs?
Everyone
Ages 13–64 should be tested for HIV at least once, and adults 18+ for Hepatitis C at least once
Sexually Active Women
Should be tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea
Pregnant Women
Should be tested for syphilis, HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, chlamydia and gonorrhea
Gay Men, Bisexual Men, and men who have sex with men
Should be tested for syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV and Hepatitis C
People who share Injection drug equipment
Should get tested for HIV and Hepatitis C
