PrEP & PEP
HIV prevention made simple
PrEP and PEP are powerful tools that can help prevent HIV infections — and getting started is easier than you may think.
Our team provides supportive, judgment-free care and can help you choose the prevention option that fits your life.
PrEP is available in different forms, including pills and injectables, and most people pay little to nothing with insurance coverage and financial assistance programs.

what’s the difference between PrEP & PEP?
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is medication taken before possible HIV exposure to help prevent HIV. When taken as prescribed, PrEP is highly effective.
PrEP options include:
- Daily pills
- Long-acting injectable PrEP

PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) is often referred to as “the morning-after pill for HIV” and is taken after a potential HIV exposure. If you have had sex without a condom, or have used or been stuck by a needle, you may have been exposed to HIV.
- Must be started within 72 hours
- Is taken for 28 days
- Is available 24/7 through our care team
