World AIDS Day FAQs
The Trillium Health Foundation’s World AIDS Day is one of our signature fundraising events. It highlights the progress made and the work that still lies ahead as we strive toward an AIDS-free generation.
Celebrated annually around the globe on December 1st since 1988, World AIDS Day is a day of remembrance, solidarity, and unity in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
The red ribbon became the universally recognized symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV. Created in 1991, red was chosen for its boldness and its association with passion, the heart, and love.
Grab your favorite holiday cocktail attire and don’t be afraid to add a pop of red!
Yes! The evening will feature grazing stations and an open bar.
